Harmony Public Schools is celebrating strong student outcomes as a result of Friday’s release of the Texas Education Agency’s 2025 statewide accountability ratings, reaffirming the district’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement across its PreK–12 campuses.

Out of 60 schools across Texas, 30 earned an “A” rating, while 20 campuses earned a “B” rating.

Additionally, all seven of Harmony’s regional Texas districts received either an “A” or “B” rating, with all scoring 85/100 or better. All seven districts also were awarded an "A" Rating in TEA's FIRST Financial Accountability Ratings earlier in August.

"We believe every child can excel when given the right opportunities and guidance,” Harmony CEO Fatih Ay said. “Our focus moving forward will be on building upon these successes and making sure all our campuses meet the high expectations we set for ourselves.”

Harmony exceeded the state average in all 20 STAAR subject and content areas for the percentage of students who Met or Mastered learning objectives, including as by as much as 22 percent in Algebra I.

Other highlights include:

  • 36 Harmony campuses earned 4 or more TEA distinctions for Postsecondary Readiness, Closing the Gaps, Academic Progress and subject-specific performance (ex. Science).
  • Harmony Science Academy-Midland earned a "B" in its first TEA ratings since opening in Fall 2024.
  • Harmony Science Academy-Waco improved from a "D" in the most recent scoring to a "B."

These outcomes are a reflection of the strong, positive school cultures across Harmony Public Schools, as recognized by 56 campuses earning School of Character distinctions, underscoring the importance of values, leadership, and community in student success.

Harmony continues to focus on the following to help every student succeed:

  • Emphasis on rigorous, future-focused academics, including STEM pathways and college & career readiness supports.
  • Targeted interventions and enrichment aimed at accelerating growth for all students.
  • Ongoing investments in instructional materials, teacher development, and student supports that directly impact classroom learning.

Harmony Public Schools celebrated the start of the 2025-26 school year with the opening of six new campuses, bringing the statewide charter system's total enrollment to approximately 50,000 students.
